Summer Term is open to all Boğaziçi University students, to university graduates, to students from other universities and to students who are newly accepted by universities abroad who fulfill the English proficiency requirements.
How to Apply to Summer Term
Application
Visiting students and participants can decide which courses they would like to take during Summer Term by reviewing the course list on this WEB site. All the applicants should fill in the on-line application form available on our WEB site. Once their application is approved by the Summer Term Office Boğaziçi University Online Registration System (OBIKAS) will be available to them for on-line registration. A user manual for OBIKAS and other registration procedures will be sent to them via email. Due to high demand we strongly recommend all the visiting students and participants to apply as early as possible.

Certificates
The following documents are required as part of the application process: Official recent transcription for students from other universities, proof of latest degree obtained for graduates, acceptance document for students who are newly accepted by universities abroad, Proof of English proficiency for all students.
English Proficiency Result
Students or graduates of universities where the official language of instruction is English need no further proof of their English proficiency. All other applicants should present one of the following:
- A minimum grade of C on BUEPT (Boğaziçi University English Proficiency Test)
- Computer-based TOEFL: 213, TWE: 4.5
TOEFL IBT Test: 79, TWE: 24
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minumum score of 7.
