READING IN TURKISH FOR FOREIGNERS I TKF 317.01(3 credits, 6 hours a week) during the summer term.

Course Load: Normally, a maximum of 10 credits or 3 courses can be taken in the Summer Term. Under exceptional circumstances decision by Boğaziçi University Summer Term Executive Comittee may override this rule.

Can students transfer credits from Bogazici University Summer Term to their home universities?How can I get an official transcript?
Students should check with their registrar's office for credit transfers before they pay tuition and preregistration fees.Transcripts will be printed out by the Registrar's Office when the classes are graded completely by the instructors after final exams end. Official transcripts will be offered to the applicants via mail or by hand in the direction of their requirements. Summer Term Office is needed to be told about the addresses exactly and totally by the applicants if they are requested transcripts to be sent via mail. Summer Term Office is only able to send the transcripts by snail-mail.
How do I register for the classes at OBIKAS?
A password and a username will be sent to the visiting students via email to use Bogazici University Student Online Registration System(OBIKAS)So, the participants will be able to be added for the selected courses on the system by using their passwords and usernames. Both tuition and preregistration fees should be paid in order to be registered for the selected courses at OBIKAS.
Are there any housing options during the summer term? How can I apply? When I can fill in the accommodation request form online?
Yes, Bogazici University Summer Term offers the visiting students two on campus alternatives for accommodation such as Superdorm and Ucaksavar Dorm during the summer term. Tourist visa can be enough for the applicants who will be participated in the summer term at Bogazici University.
What are the transportation options between South Campus, North Campus and Hisar Campus during the summer term program?
There are shuttle buses will be serving regularly for Bogazici students as well as for the visiting students from one campus to others during the summer term.
How do I get my Student ID Card(For Visiting Students)and Where can I use it for?
Student ID Cards will be started to hand out to the visiting students beginning from the first day of the classes by Summer Term Office. Student ID Card enables you to enter the library at North Campus, swimming pools at South Campus and Hisar Campus, to use Computer Center and etc.Two recent photos should be delivered to Summer Term Office in order to get the student ID Card.
Is refund available if I want to give up Summer Term?
Refund is not available after the term has begun unless any class is cancelled due to an unexpected situation.
